This Jacob & Co. Tourbillon Is Out Of This World

The following article was made in collaboration with Hardy Brothers.

Some watches say time. Others tell stories. The world is with you dual time zone tourbillon From Jacob & Co is one of the rare creations that can be managed seamlessly to capture the same, with the kind of emotional depth and mechanical brains in creating some brands that will strive to try.
When Jacob Arab was only 13 years old, he received a dual-time map of the world given by his father. This priceless gift, while Arab's loved one as a family heritage, will inspire one of Jacob & Co's most personal creations. That original gift contains a message from a father to his son: The world is yours. Get out and claim it. Now, decades later, that message returns with a greater meaning of the goal, and with it, the first evolution of the collection that carries its name.
Jacob & Co Caliber JCAA4 is the center

At its heart is a rare work of mechanical watch: a central tourbillon that rotates once every 30 seconds. It is twice the speed of a conventional tourbillon, which is placed under a sapphire bridge that seems to be floating above a three-dimensional gesture.
This decorative motif is undoubtedly the center of the whole design, but also serves as the beat heart of the JCAA4 caliber heart. Inside, this piece includes a platinum micro-rotor, 65 hours of electricity reserve, and an amazing architecture that maintains the perfect tourbillon balance in the middle of the world it represents.

The dial itself is domed, blued, and laser-sculpted from the titanium, depicting a curved soil map. Its two sub-dials, angrily at 64 degrees, represent two independently setting time zones-not just local and home, but anytime, anywhere. From Paris and New York to Nepal and Newfoundland, even the confusion of global offsets has been accounted for. Even continents that are not visible to the dial are printed in gold throughout Sapphire Caseback.
Limited edition, available to Hardy Brothers
Limited to only 199 pieces, this unique piece measures 43mm in pink gold, but wears with an elegant profile thanks to liquid curves and recessed crown. In the middle, the height rises to more than 18mm, a necessary feature to accommodate the height of the tourbillon, giving the watch the appearance of an inflammation of the living world.
For Jacob Arabic, The world is yours started as a father's gift. For men who now wear it, it becomes something else: a heirloom waiting to give, a world waiting to be shared.
