VRCHAT Dangerous Supervision: Breeding Square for Public NSFW Avatars

Since someone who has spent several months documenting, reporting and repeatedly reaching the Vrchat moderation team, I can say with certainty: VRCHAT fails with my community.
Worse, it fails to have thousands of minor users on their platform, allowing sexually explicit avatars to remain accessible in public worlds. These avatars are not fine. They are not just “suggestive”. They are clear, complete nudity switching, simulated sexual parts (DPS/SPS) and hypersexualized models that can be used in and used in the worlds that can be accessed by children.
And Vrchat knows that.
I have announced over 120 public avatarsEach of which violated Vrchat's own service conditions and community instructions. Each avatar had blatant sexual content, from strips to simulated genitals. And while some of these avatars were later switched to “private” – which proves that reports were recognized – this lazy tactics do nothing.
Each user can re -submit the same avatar. They can turn the switch over and disclose. And against the accounts that initially uploaded them, nothing will ever be done. This means the same user that put the hyper-on-side of the avatar in the public world where playing minors can go back and do it again without one consequence.
Let it sink in: there is no consequences. There is no responsibility.
VRCHAT is a platform that boasts More than 100,000 active users every dayAnd it has a fast -growing Quest user base – which includes both young people and 13. Yes, the platform allows minors. And yes, these minors get and do it completely naked avatars because they are public And often the search is compatible. It's not hypothetical. This happens now.
It's not just bad moderation. This is the negligence of the company.
When I reached a system of official moderation tickets, I met silence. Weeks passed. Tickets were ignored. In rare cases, when measures were taken, it was inadequate, temporary and left this problem untouched.
Due to frustration and deep -worried platform safety I turned to VRCHAT INc. towards several senior persons, including:
- Casey (Vice President of Product and Production)
- Graham Gaylor (co -founder and CEO)
- Sam Luangkhot (Community Senior Manager)
- Travis Morrison (Human Resources)
- Thomas Hyde (Vice President of the Human)
No answer.
VRC+ illusion
I have been a paid member. I have supported the platform. However, VRC+ membership does not accompany advanced support, moderation tools or even community health voice. You are just another number that feeds the company to a company that reduced its workforce by 30%, while its platform increased with daily users and risk.
At the same time, few remaining employees are too puzzled or interested in dealing with one of the most threats of the platform: uncontrolled exposure to sexual content.
Why is it important
Because it does not affect the umpsunnist. This is about The basic digital safety and platform ethicsTo. When minors are allowed to be equipped and investigated by NSFW avatars that simulate sexual acts, it is no longer just a community problem. It will become a legal and reputable responsibility. And this is something that the whole VR industry should watch closely.
It is amazing that in 2025, the leading VR social platform may look differently until its minor users come into contact and actively use active avids that can easily belong to sexual direct material definitions.
I have finished waiting
I have sent E letters. I have provided tickets. I have done the work of the community moderator for free, working hard and marking harmful content. And in return, I am ignored.
Nobody should fight it hard to get the main safety violation.
So now I bring it to the public. If VRCHA does not listen to them in a community trying to preserve its policy, then it may be time for the wider world of technology to pay attention.
An invitation to action
If you are a developer, creator or someone who cares about the future of digital platforms: speakTo. If you are older, look hard at which your children can get to. And if you are part of the Vrchat team that reads it: Do your damn workTo.
You no longer have to hide behind automation and ticket systems. Your users – especially your youngest – want a safe environment. And the ones who care about this community are nowhere to go.
