US funding cuts a strip of Ukrainian cyber defense

Although no one has officially accused cyber attacks, Ukraine has been a full -scale invasion of Russia since 2022. As Cryptopolitan announced on Friday, American efforts have helped the European people to defend themselves.

After Trump was sworn in in January this year, the administration rapidly moved to the US agencies budgets. Ukraine knew the cuts louder than almost anyone else.

Cyber security support, military shipments and even intelligence cooperation dried up. According to critics, Trump's White House is suppressed by the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy to accept a peace treaty, which is highly leaning towards Russia's interests.

Over the past five years, the US International Development Agency (USAID) poured more than $ 200 million for Ukrainian cyber security efforts.

The National Security Agency and the US cyber command also entered into technical support, equipment and training. Their help was kept by the Ukrainian government ministries, the state bank, telecommunications companies and electricity service providers who worked even under heavy Russian cyber attacks.

These lines of life are left. The Elon Musk Government Department (DOGE), a former supporter of Ukraine's largest cyber security, was once aimed at since February. Musk said about X that USAID intervened in governments worldwide and “pushing the radical left policy” but did not show any evidence of his claims.

Cyber security contracts collapse after the white house cuts

The eight things who allegedly talked to Bloomberg are dozens of cyber security contractors in Ukraine and the United States who allegedly talked to Bloomberg. These were the people who helped Ukraine stop Russian hackers in the Cabinet of Ministers of Power Plants and the CEO of the State.

American grants had funded in the offices of the cyber security government, election infrastructure, gas and energy companies and even nuclear sites. Some of the programs were green during Trump's first term, but the other Trump administration interrupted them without warning.

The situation became even worse after Russia's February 2022 invasion, when USAID drastically increased the funding of cyber security to help Ukraine survive the flood of new attacks. Now that Musk is leading to the demolition of the Auxiliary Programs of Väinamaa, even this backup has disappeared.

This week, Vice -President JD Vanci warned that if the European countries are not accepting the Peace Treaty supported by Trump, the United States could fully concentrate the peace process. This step can be hit by the door for future cyber security.
