Trump turns on ‘buddy’ Putin over Ukraine, says he’ll slap Russia with sanctions now

US president Donald Trump boarded Vladimir Putin on Saturday, warning Russia to face heavy penalties after a missile strike on civilians in Ukraine.
After a few months of putting his so-called friendship with the President of Russia, Trump said he was hurt today and Putin didn't think there was a real interest in stopping the war despite their conversations, so Moscow could be punished by “banking” or “second penalties.”
In a long rant in social reality, Trump Says“It doesn't matter what I'm dealing with about Russia/Ukraine, no matter how good it is, even if it's the greatest deal, failing in the New York Times will speak badly here.”
Trump then dragged Peter Baker, calling him “the very -albias and untalented writer for The Times,” and accused him that Ukraine should return all of its territories, “including, I think, Crimea, and other humorous requests.”
The US president said the violence that is happening today is “worse than anything since World War II.” Trump also aims at Barack Obama by letting Russia take Crimea “without even a shot fired.” He asked why Baker did not criticize Obama's handling of Crimea but Trump continued to attack.
He reminds everyone, “I had nothing to do with this stupid war, except early on, when I gave Ukraine javelins, and Obama gave them sheets.” He made it clear that it was “Sleepy Joe Biden's War,” not to him, calling the war “a loser from the day of a” and saying, “This should not happen, and it wouldn't happen if I was president at that time.”
Trump did not allow, saying, “There is no reason for Putin to shoot missiles in civilian areas, cities and towns, in the last days.” He ended by saying, “So many people are dying !!!”
Trump and Zelenskyy pushed for a deal with peace after tense meeting in Rome
The warning came just hours after Trump and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky met the front in Rome, before Pope Francis' funeral.
This was their first meeting from a heated Oval Office quarrel year ago with a shouting match. At this time, things are calm. The White House said the two had “very productive discussions,” but did not provide details about the agreement.
Zelenskyy called the meeting “Good” and said, “Very symbolic meeting with the potential to be historic, if we achieve joint results.” Although he maintained it unclear, the meeting showed both sides trying to move forward.
Earlier in the week, Trump pushed a plan to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. His proposal has been reported to include Crimea recognition as Russian territory, something Zelenskyy calls a red line.
Talking about the time earlier this month, Trump said, “Crimea stays in Russia,” added, “Zelenskyy understands that, and everyone understands that it has been with them for a long time. It was with them for a long time before Trump came along.”
After those comments, Zelenskyy quickly pushed, saying that Crimea was in Ukraine again.
Despite the clear tension, Trump posted on Friday that Russia and Ukraine were “very close to a deal,” and said that both sides must meet “at a very high level, to 'finish it.'” He wrote to the fact that “most of the major points are agreed.”
