Top Satoshi Candidate Didn’t Create Bitcoin, Adam Back Claims

Adam Back, CEO of Blockstream, is convinced That the late Cypherpunk Hal Finney is not Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin.

Back underlined a blog article by Casa Cto Jameson Lopp, which aims to prove that Finney was not the man who started everything.

Finney has long been the best candidate in Satoshi, but LOPP presented horrifying evidence to reject the story in 2023.

In April 2009, Finney competed in a 10 -thousand race at Santa Barbara while Satoshi corresponded to the former contributor of Bitcoin, Mike Hearn. LOPP underlined the photographic evidence of Finney participating in the race when the conversation took place.

In particular, the emails between Hearn and Satoshi who were published later align fully with the chronology of the race.

Finney, who received the very first Bitcoin transaction, could not work from mid-2010 due to the suffering of amyotrophic side sclerosis (SLA). Cypherpunk was initially diagnosed with debilitating disease in 2009. However, the creator of Bitcoin has always maintained a high level of online activity in August 2010.

This type of activity would be practically impossible because it was barely capable of typing at that time. Meanwhile, Satoshi contributed to the code and actively participated in discussions on the forum, which means that they had enough dexterity and mental concentration.

Back, of course, insists that he has not created the original cryptocurrency either. The British cryptographer, who was cited in the Bitcoin White Paper, has also been among the best Satoshi candidates for years.

As Reported by U.TODAYThe former CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, recently suggested that Bitcoin could have been created by an artificial intelligence (IA) of the future.
