Thousands of Very Niche Chains

In the future, the blockchain segment will see custom decentralized networks for certain cases of use, created by mass, says polygon founder Sandeep Nailwal. This is the position in its new brain, the agglayer, as a procedure to unite all major blockchain applications.

“Thousands of Custom Chains”: Polygon Founder to the next generation of blockchain

Customizing blockchains is the main feature that is important for developing applications that are actually used by different types of consumers. That is why we should be prepared for thousands of specific application blockchains created “in the near future,” said polygon founder Sandeep Nailwal.

Some of the appchains will actually serve cases of using niche. Step -Step, this process will provide equipment with each significant app with its own blockchain.

Then, Agglayer, a new cross-network infrastructure protocol supported by the polygon ecosystem, will be the app that combines all the blockchains made.

As with the U.Tayday before, Agglayer has prepared to play an important role in the connection between different classes of decentralized networks.

What are appchains?

In general, the Polygon founder audience in X (formerly Twitter) agrees with his acquisition about the potential of appchains and agglayers. Some speakers, though, noted that on-chain experience will also create.

Appchain, or blockchains specific to the application, are custom developed decentralized networks with adjustable parameters. Unlike monolithic blockchains (Bitcoin, Ethereum and others), appchains can be customized to align with its business logic or DAPP.

The Appchain concept gained traction in 2023-2024, while some major decentralized protocols began moving to their own blockchains, along with Uniswap's Unichain, Dydx's Dydx Chain and others.
