The Last of Us Episode 4: What to Know About Isaac

WArning: This post contains spoilers for episode 4 of The latter of us Season 2.

Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and Dina (Isabela Merced) can do this in Seattle, but they clearly don't know exactly how much they will be against the city. Not only are there hordes that are infected to deal with, but the ongoing war between the Washington Liberation Front (WLF) group of militia and the religious cult known as seraphites (or, as balloons call them, scars) have become Seattle streets on a violent war beach.

As we learned in Episode 4, one of the people in the middle of this fight was Isaac Dixon (Jeffrey Wright, who also expressed character in The latter of US Part II video game), the ruthless WLF leader holding an uncomfortable bearing about how the seraphites should be dealt with. We see this attitude hidden in a scene based on a condemnation -following from the game where Isaac brutally tortured a captive scar before he was shot in the head when he was hurting about the number of people defective from the WLF to the Seraphites.

In the game, Isaac was a former US Marine who became the head of the WLF following the so -called Thursday massacre market, an incident that saw Federal Disaster Response Agency (Fedra) soldiers who had opened Seattle residents who were protesting the zone zone food deficiencies and exploding civilian support from the military to Wolves. It was also after Fedra hunted and killed the founders of WLF, Emma and James Patterson.

Fedra pulled the city soon, leaving Isaac in control of Seattle. However, as people continued to starve and the conflict in the seraphites began to rise, Isaac's reign became more dictator. Episode 4 filled Isaac's WLF Startnings script, suggesting that he was originally a Fedra commander who moved to the side after witnessing the non -deadly military treatment of Seattle citizens.

“People asked … If we get a little backstory about Isaac,” Wright teased for a moment in a November interview TVline. “It may. It may not be nice.”

Isaac's storyline will also be tied to Abby's character Arc As, in the game, Isaac took Abby (Kaitlyn Dever) and the remaining Salt Lake City personnel when they arrived in Seattle after Joel (Pedro Pascal) killed other Fireflies. He also became a soldier and allowed him to go to Jackson to avenge what Joel had done. In Episode 2, Abby made a reference to a code of ethics her commander in Seattle (maybe Isaac) taught her that you should not kill people who cannot defend themselves.

Unfortunately, he or Isaac did not seem to be very serious about that command.
