Pipe Foundation Launches PipeQuest Incentive Program for Pipe Network Testnet

Pipe foundationA non -profit organization dedicated to decentralization, adoption and expansion of the pipe network, the first decentralized content delivery network (CDN) built on Solana, announced today the launch of the pipequest incentive program for the Testnet pipe network On stage in Token2049 Dubai. The pipequest program is structured as a multi-season initiative designed to support the growth of the ecosystem, the performance of node operators, community engagement and traction on the request before Mainnet, because of its launch this summer.

Pipe Network architecture is designed to be easily evolving and promoting an autonomous ecosystem where users will be rewarded for the active network participation, encouraging media content and companies, web3 developers and digital service providers to support and evolve the network. The innovation of Core to Pipe Network is its fleet of decentralized presence nodes (“Pop”) as anyone – Internet service providers (ISP) to corporate companies and web3 – can deploy just about 50 miles from end users. The model without authorization from Pipe Network and Linux -based software can practically transform any device into a pop node. This allows POP operators to deploy nodes and on the level of the pipe network without restrictive contracts or unfair pricing, eliminating typical entry barriers in the traditional ISP partnership model and pop deployment. Since its launch in the DEVNET private at the end of January, the The pipe network has seen:

• 200,000 pop knots on board
• Over 200,000 downloaded files
• More than 250 cumulative storage teraoctes used

Season 1 of pipequest opens May 5, 2025, Each season taking place ~ 7 days and will focus on incentive to certain testnet activities as follows:

Season 1 – Pop knot performance

• Main objective: Benchmark Pop Brutes Pop Performances to identify and reward operators with high -performance nodes depending on the efficiency of availability, RTT and cache.
• Follow up: The node performance metrics will be audited via the Guardian node tools.
• Incitations granted: Based on the internal ranking position which will inform the operators of nodes of future roles and the visibility of future. For example, the highest 1% of POP operators will earn a 2x points multiplier and a “Edge Captain” reduction badge.

Season 2 – Community commitment

• Main objective: Growshare and literacy around decentralized CDNs.
• Follow up: Community commitment will be measured by activities such as the same challenges, the realization of CDN literacy quiz, the development of CDN literacy campaigns and the references of the pipe network
• Incitations granted: Depending on the quality of the content, scope and consistency of contributions. For example, users can earn 100 points to create a meme that reaches ≥ 500 impressions on X or obtaining a completion rate of 80% or more on a CDN literacy quiz.

Season 3 – Generation of demand and integration

• Main objective: Stimulate real traffic via the network; Integrations of battle test partners.
• Follow up: The generation of demand and the integration of end users and infrastructure partners will be measured by activities such as content execution via pipe CDN, providing comments on the advantages of the network, helping to develop network case studies and supporting the integration of DAPPs, RPC services and customers infrared in the pipeline of pipes
• Incitations granted: Mystères boxes attributed according to the qualified use, the volume of integration and the depth of the engagement. For example, a mystery box can be won by downloading more than 1 TB of data in the pipe CDN with the potential of a 3X 3X 3X box bonus for download on the 10 TB data ceiling.

The points will be followed via an internal dashboard which will be frozen for 48 hours at the end of each season for the audit, so that the rewards are given on the basis of performance and contributions relating to each season. The points won during these seasons are not transferable and are intended to measure a significant participation in each phase of the deployment and reward of pipequest.

The main contributors of the PERMISSING LABS pipes are made up of former main AWS engineers who have built Amazon Elemental Cloud, which has integrated service providers, including Netflix, Comcast, ABC and NBC.
