Meta AI app taps the creators as it takes an Openai chat

Meta's latest application has knocked out the content creators to help start it.

On Tuesday, the company announced a separate Meta AI application, coinciding with its first AI developer event with Llamacon.

“There are almost a billion people who now use Meta AI in our applications,” Mark Zuckerberg said of the new application in a certain video.

The Meta AI application gives users access to the AI assistant, similar to other AI applications such as Openai Chatgpt application. Meta's main step for users is that its new AI assistant application, built on the latest Llama 4 models of the Meta, learns the user's preferences, remembers the context and is personalized. It is also a co-application of Meta AI-support Ray-Ban glasses.

One thing that distinguishes this chatgpt and other AI competitions: the new application has a social feed where users can share what they motivate the meta AI.

Before the application arrived, the creators were not turned on, so the stream was not the content and searched for their feedback. The day of launch, the Meta AI “Discover” stream was already filled with AI Viipi from Meta workers, as well as content creators such as travel bloggers, memes, technical enthusiasts and artists.

Meta creators' partnership teams turned to influencers in recent weeks to board a new application, several creators and talent leaders told Business Insider. These content creators received early access to Meta AI last week, but said that META would not be paid to use the application.

How the Creators use Meta AI

On the first day of the Meta AI feed, the creators contained the shared instructions. Some of the shared pictures ai generated, for example, their own versions of different colors. Others shared text guides like “100 men vs 1 gorilla who wins?” Posted by MEME Page Hoodville (with 9 million Instagram followers).

Users can choose what instructions they publicly share.

“It's not just every idea I have, but it's really curated,” said Meme creator Vanessa Vice. One of his first public pledges was Meta Ai to ask “Imagine a middle John Mayer fan”, which would then spit on the pictures of John Mayer by wearing John Mayer Merch.

“The application flow of the application is like the version of OG Facebook, but only focused on AI usage cases,” said Mike Proulx, Vice President of Forrester Research.

However, the social characteristics of Meta AI are limited.

While users can like posts, respond to other people's AI VIIs and share posts on other applications such as Instagram, WhatsApp or Threads, Meta AI is not yet a full-fledged social media platform. For example, the profiles of the application cannot be monitored at the moment, although some creators have their Instagram pages associated with their Meta AI profiles. There are also no creators or searching for public accounts.

“This does not necessarily mean the construction of the following,” said photographer Andrew Wille, who got access to Meta AI early on. Instead, Wille said he was using a public stream to “learn how to best accelerate Meta AI”.

The educational component is the main part of the Meta AI application flow.

“You can post some of your instructions to inspire and help them learn,” the app tells users.

Despite the current restrictions, some think that AI can become a new form of content for the creators.

“I want to see how other people write, and I'm sure other people want to see what kind of ways I write,” said Sundas Khalid, the creator and data scientist of Tech. “LLMs are just as good as the signs we write.”
