Microsoft claims that it is the fastest and smartest Windows PCs ever built, capable of tasks that would cause other computers.
And that is why I found myself standing in front of the Microsoft Sydney Experience Center on Pitt Street.
Media events can be quite boring, but the promise of free drinks and sofas is enough to attract scumbag journalists like me. This one, however, seemed different from the start. The invitation promised a lot: It is not only an event; It is your passport in the new world of technology, an area of possibilities – where creativity and productivity do not know any limits.
Okay, I'm interested.
Once inside, the guests have received a boarding pass and a passport and we said that we will travel in five “destinations” designed to present the new features of Microsoft Copilot + PC.
Once we had “recorded”, we were left to travel the two -story shop and dive into the new PCs.
It would not be a technological event without DJ.
Throughout the night, I wondered if this fruit was to eat or decoration. But it's not a fruit blog, well, not yet. Anyway, do we dive into what was exposed, okay?
8. Destination dispatch: AI mail assistance
I started playing with a laptop on a bench, not knowing that I reluctantly came across the first destination. This judgment aimed to live the power of Copilot in Word. 5. Copilot Explorer: travel on the web
The following stop was another turn on a co -pilot + PC (regular size) to try the co -pilot power when used on the web. The task was to plan a vacation, so I typed a simple invite explaining that I wanted to see as many volcanoes as possible in Japan. In a few seconds, he generated an entire route. We entered the really personalized trips.
And of course, a lot of LLM can do it, but what distinguishes Copilot +is its integration directly into the system rather than counting on cloud -based operations. This local treatment guarantees faster, more private and potentially more personalized interactions.
4. Mastermind of memory
It was the only destination on the ground floor and it was the recall function of the Copilot + PC. The way it was done was really fun. 2. Cocreator – give life to your ideas

1. The special gift
Throughout the night, there were clues of a special gift for all those who visited and had their passport buffer to the five destinations. Could it be? Could we all go away with a brand new co-pilot + PC? Surely not. And yet anticipation has increased. All night, I was wondering what could be so special in this gift. And then the time has happened.
A huge ass umbrella.
Don't get me wrong, I like the umbrellas as much as the next guy. I would consider myself a fan of umbrella. I appreciate what they did for society. But I had trouble understanding what the umbrellas had to do with all of this. Was I stupid? Was there a hidden and deeper meaning that I did not get?
Maybe I thought, it is because it was all on the theme of travel. But then, wouldn't the umbrella be small and compact? This thing was massive. I was wondering if they let me bring back on the plane to Melbourne.
But as I walked in the streets of Sydney with my giant umbrella, I came to appreciate it more. I had never held an umbrella which was so large and yet so smooth – it instantly opened with the press on a button. He closed with the agility and ease of an umbrella half of his size. It was strong and robust, but elegant and beautiful.
In the end, I was taken when I crossed the safety of Sydney airport on the way back to Melbourne, but our separation was temporary. After a few explosive tests, it was given clear.
