The Crypto Asset Management Firm Galaxy Digital has announced plans to go public to the NASDAQ Stock Exchange.
Galaxy Digital Chief Executive and Founder Mike Novogratz Says The firm plans to live live in Nasdaq soon May 16, but notes that the shareholder approved is still required.
“It is fun to share Galaxy's plan to list at NASDAQ on May 16, waiting for the shareholder's approval on May 9. We believe this list will position the galaxy to better serve investors throughout the digital asset and AI ecosystem and will help unlock the next stage of our growth.”
According to a Press releaseGalaxy Digital has been formed by a public company integrated with Delaware to do so and is expected to take the GLXY symbol. On April 17th, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that the registration statement filed by the firm was effective.
As Novogratz said in the press release,
“We believe the list in NASDAQ will mark a Milestone transformation for space that will position us to advance our vision by developing a gateway for investors who are safe and efficiently accessible to every corner of the digital asset and artificial intelligence ecosystems.
We are confident that this list will be enhancing the company and our shareholders and enable us to attract a broader investor base. “
The Galaxy Digital Holdings trade $ 15.62 at the time of writing, a marginal increase in the last 24 hours.
