Brevis and PancakeSwap announced the launch of Intelligent UX on PancakeSwap Infinity (formerly PancakeSwap v4), bringing programmable, user-aware, and trustless DeFi experiences. Powered by Brevis’ advanced zero-knowledge proof (ZK) technology, this integration brings Brevis-supported hooks to PancakeSwap Infinity, changing how decentralized exchanges (DEXs) interact with users.
Previously, all users experienced identical trading processes in DeFi, regardless of their loyalty, trading volume, or liquidity contributions. PancakeSwap Infinity changes the DeFi trading process by introducing hooks — externally deployed contracts that extend Automated Market Maker (AMM) actions such as swapping and liquidity management. Hooks enable powerful customizations like dynamic fees, custom oracles, and automated rebalancing logic without compromising protocol security.
Executing complex logic trustlessly over vast historical data has remained a challenge, but Brevis bridges this gap. Built atop cutting-edge ZK systems, Brevis enables complex off-chain computations with on-chain verifiability, delivering powerful features at a fraction of on-chain costs while maintaining L1 security standards. The Brevis Portal allows pool deployers to configure, deploy, and manage hook contracts with ease. Deployers can create hooks using Concentrated Liquidity AMM or Liquidity Book AMM pool types, deploy dynamic fee structures integrated into BeforeSwap hooks, and configure VIP discount tiers based on historical user data. By registering pools and logic configurations through the Brevis Portal, deployers bring flexibility and UX improvements to DeFi trading.

The Token Holder Discount Hook enables users to automatically receive fee discounts based on their time-averaged holdings of designated ERC-20 tokens. Discount tiers are configurable within the Brevis Portal, with eligibility proven trustlessly via Brevis attestation. The Trading Volume Discount Hook rewards traders with swap fee reductions based on their accumulated trading volume within specific pools over defined time windows, with no staking or manual verification required. Brevis also periodically attests VIP statuses across pools. PancakeSwap’s router intelligently fetches the attested data, calculates optimal swap paths, and applies applicable discounts in real-time, delivering a seamless, user-centric DeFi experience.
