Army plans President Trump's June birthday 6600-Soldier Military Parade

Plans for the shopsMilitary parade President Donald Trump's birthdayIn June, invite over 6,600 soldiers, at least 150 vehicles, 50 helicopters, seven bands and maybe a couple of thousand civilians, the Associated Press learned.

The planning documents received by AP have been dated on April 29 and 30 and have not been publicly published. They represent the last planned Army at the planned 250th anniversary National Mall and the newly added element-large military parade that Trump has long wanted but is still discussed.

The anniversary of the army simply happens with Trump's 79th birthday on June 14th.

Although slides do not contain a price forecast, it would probably cost tens of millions of dollars on a parade of this size. Expenditure would include the movement of military vehicles, equipment, airplanes and troops throughout the country to Washington and the need to feed and accommodate thousands of service members.

The high costs stopped the boost of the parade during Trump's first term, and some of the recent plans of the army and other heavy vehicles have been concerned about damaging roads from city officials.

Asking about parade plans, Army spokeswoman Steve Warren replied on Thursday that no final decisions were made.

Second Army spokeswoman Colonel Dave Butler added that the army is excited about its anniversary plans.

“We want to make it an event that the whole nation can celebrate with us,” Butler said. “We want Americans to know their armies and soldiers. The parade can be part of it and we think it's a great addition to what we already planned.”

Other documents who talked to anonymity, as the plans have not been completed, said they represent Army plans when preparing for any white house for the parade. The White House did not immediately respond to the comment application.

There has not been official approval yet. Plans changes have been made in recent weeks and more are likely.

On Thursday evening, which did not mention the plans of June 14, Trump wrote: “We will celebrate our victory again!” He promised to rename May 8, which is now known as a victory on European Day as a “World War II victory day” and replaced on November 11, “World War I Victory Day”.

That would go to a potential army parade

Much of the equipment should be taken by train or flyed in.

Some equipment and troops were already intended to be involved in the celebration of the Army's birthday, which has been in the works for more than a year. The festival was to include a wealth of activities and exhibitions in the national shopping center, including sports competition, climbing wall, armored vehicles, humans, helicopters and other equipment.

However, the parade would increase the equipment and troops involved. As planned, as many as 6,300 servants march on the parade for other tasks and support.

Army early festival plans did not contain parade but officials confirmed last monthThe army had begun discussionsabout adding it.

The plans claim that the parade will introduce the Army's 250 -year service year and provide at least 11 corps and department soldiers throughout the country. These could include the Stryker Battalion with two Stryker vehicles, a tank battalion and two tank companies, infantry battalion with Bradley vehicles, Paladin artillery vehicles, bruising and infantry vehicles.

There would be seven army bands and Golden Knights parachute jump. And the documents show that the civilian would be involved in historical vehicles and planes and two bands with veterans, war college and people.

It is planned that the parade is classified as a national special security event and this application has been submitted to the National Park Service and is under review.

And it is assumed that the evening parade will be followed by a concert and fireworks.

One of the documents raises concerns with some restrictions, which includes accommodation for troops and “significant concerns about security requirements” as equipment flow into the city. It says that the largest unknown so far is what units would participate.

Trump has long wanted a large military parade

During his first term Trumpproposal to have a paradeAfter seeing Bastille's Day in France in 2017. Trump said that after the two-hour procession was watching at Champs-Elysees, he wants Pennsylvania's avenue even bigger.

Finally, this plan was taken due to the huge cost – one estimate of the $ 92 million price tag – and other logistical problems. These included objections to the city officials, including tanks and other heavy armored vehicles tearing the road.

Trump said in the 2018 social media post that he wasThe cancellation of the eventexpenses and accused local politicians on the price.

This year, when the plans for the army progressed to their birthday festival in Washington, the parade began again.

The mayor of DCMuriel BowserIn April, he admitted that the administration reached the city on June 14th over the parade, which extends to Arlington, Virginia, where the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery, across the Potomac River and Washington.

Bowser said at the time that he did not know whether the event was characterized as a military parade, but added that the tanks rolling on the streets of the city would not be good.

“If the military tanks were used, several million dollars would be carried out to improve them,” she said.

In 2018, the Pentagon seemed to agree. The memo of the employees of the Minister of Defense said that the parade plans – at that time – include only wheels and no tanks to minimize the damage to the local infrastructure.
