Trump faces 100-day disapproval crisis with lowest rating in 70 years

President Donald Trump has dragged the lowest rating of any newly elected President of the United States for more than seventy years, according to CNN, as he approached 100 days back inside the White House.

Americans are resistant to its massive efforts to reinstate the government, and the numbers clearly show it without any room for spinning.

A new set of polls dropped on Sunday, showing that most Americans do not agree with how Trump oversees the presidency. His approved rating slides between 39% and 45%, depending on which poll you are looking at.

The Washington Post-ABC News-tripos poll pinned him to 39%, the CNN/SSRS poll gave him 41%, and the NBC News Keep focused poll polls 45%. No matter which as he wants to cling to, this is still the worst 100-day display for any first president since the end of World War II.

The bad news is constantly stacked. Trump returned to the White House in January with a little strengthening his wishes. That's not it. His approval quickly sank as people grew up more and more doubt about the way he was trying to change everything at the same time.

Trump's promises didn't win, and Americans show less patience every day. His so-called powerful point-the economy-also gets a beat. He made the economy of the center of his 2024 comeback run, but today, voters are pulling.

The CNN/SSRS poll Says Only 52% of adults trust him in the economy, which is a serious 13-point drop since December. That is not the kind of number of a seated president who wants to flash throughout the media during a year of election.

The fear of the economy is true. The Washington Post-ABC News-tripos poll said that a large 72% of Americans believe it is either “very” or “somewhat” likely that Trump's economic plans are about to push the country into a recession soon. People are watching their wallets, and Trump's promises are not enough to solve it.

Trade also doesn't help him. Trump's removal caused serious problems in financial markets. The NBC News stayed focused on the poll said 61% of Americans did not agree with how he managed to trade trade and tariffs.

Inflation also crushed people, and 60% said they were dissatisfied with the way he dealt with rising living costs. Trump built his comeback campaign claiming he would fix these exact problems, and now voters say he's just getting worse.

Independent voters Hammer Trump as partisan gap expanded

Immigration, another major issue that Trump wants to talk about, also falls into polls. The CNN/SSRS poll said that only 45% of Americans would approve how he administered immigration. It was a sharp fall from 60% that gave him a thumbs-up back in December.

The support for Trump still follows the party lines, as most Republicans stick to him. Almost all Democrats also do not buy it and firmly against him, which is not surprising. But real damage shows independent, voters who do not play for either team.

Trump lost his independence in November slightly. Now, he's missing them through a larger margin. The Washington Post-ABC News-Tipsos Poll found that 58% of independence disagreed with how Trump's country was running. These are the voters that can swing an election, and now, they have turned away from him.

The polls painted a brutal picture for Trump. His first 100 days is not a momentum story or success. They are a red flashing warning sign that he is losing the ground where he cannot afford to lose it. He walked to the office promising to change everything. But after three months, what Americans see is a president who runs out of good will, fast.
