Tell us about you.
I'm Yotis Tonnelier, founder and in charge of partner in Yobe ventures. We are an International Venture Capital Firm dedicated to tech backing Saas, Fintech, AI, Proptech, etc … and deep tech startups across the US, Europe, and Latam. Our mission is simple: we have invested in founders who hit the product-market fit and are ready to measure around the world-who supports them not only in capital, but in a decade of difficult global investors, founders, and operator experiences.
Tell us how your start -up is changing the world.
Yobe ventures are not just capital removal; We are building a Relational ecosystem. We help the founders accelerate traction, open capital paths, and early liquid techniques. Our true goal is to be VC Partner Who Founders and LPS Trust when everything is in line – Not just when things are smooth.

What does it mean for you to win this title?
We are unlucky -believed to be honored! Won Startup of the year 2024 in venture capitalis a public recognition of the years we have spent quietly building trust, delivery of returns, and aligning deeply to the founders. It is encouraging – and a signal to continue pushing further.
What do you like about your team, and why do you set up for this mission?
In Yobe Ventures, we love that every team member is a builder and operator at heart. We're not just here to write checks – we roll for sleeves, challenge assumptions, and already -eemed with our founders. Innovation is derived from trust, and we inspire that by treating each founder as a long -term partner, not just a transaction.
In return -It, which milestone is the biggest point for your start?
The biggest shift has reached Clear Product-Market Fit– That is, know exactly which founders we serve. Once we tighten the focus to repeat the founders with strong early traction, everything is aligned: our performance in the portfolio, our capital partnership, and our ability to deliver value beyond money.
What is an important lesson you learned this year that you will pass on to other startups?
2024 taught us the importance of Early liquidity strategies. In a world of delayed leaks and unpredictable public markets, helping the founders secure the slight liquidity earlier creates winners for founders, teams, and LPs. For 2025, we doubled in creative liquidity.
How can you imagine your industry emerging in the coming years, and how will your start?
VC is emerging in a Capital + Strategy + Liquidity Game. It's not enough to just write checks -companies need to offer global reach, layered capital stacks, and real operation. Yobe Ventures will remain ahead by incessantly adapting our approach to match where the founders (and markets) are going.
How did you intend your company to embrace the responsibility of this title in 2025?
We will use this recognition strengthen the visibility of our portfolio founders.

2024 is crazy, with all new techs, and all geopolitic change. What are the effects of this on your start, and your industry as a whole? Be as short or as detailed as you want.
We leaned over flexible and divert -different– Throughout the sectors, capital partners, and even liquidity paths. Geopolitical shocks, AI acceleration, and market swings have hit everyone, but the companies that remain Nimble are developing today.
