Congressman Proposes Bitcoin ATMs in Government Facilities


A Texas Republican congressman has suggested the installation of cryptocurrency ATMs in the US federal buildings. Rep. Lance Gooden wrote a letter of May 1 to Stephen Ehikian, who is currently conducting a manager for the General Service Administration (GSA), news reports said.

Gooden, one of the prominent Republican allies of the President, recommended in his letter that Installing Crypto ATMs In government buildings is a “educational resource” for the public.
