New Hampshire joins the US list that states a Bitcoin Bill by a chamber
New Hampshire's house passed the HB302 Bitcoin Reserve Bill on a vote of 192-179 yesterday.
HB302 is now going to the Senate, making New Hampshire the fourth state to pass a BTC reserve bill through a room. Other states that make similar development are Arizona, Texas and Oklahoma.
If New Hampshire's Bitcoin Bill removes the Senate and signed the law, it will allow the state manager to invest up to 10% of New Hampshire's general funds and other authorized funds to buy some cryptos along with precious metals.
One of the criteria for being eligible is that crypto should have a market capitalization of more than $ 500 billion to be included in the reserve, only one requirement Bitcoin meets the present.
The state also has two other blockchain -related bills that make their way through the legislature. They are HB310, which focuses on stablecoins and real-world asset tokenization (RWA), and HB639 related to blockchain regulation and dispute resolution.
Florida BTC Bill progressed after a united vote
Florida is also moving forward with its Bitcoin Reserve Bill, HB487. Yesterday, the state's insurance and banking committee passed the bill with a united vote.
Similar to the HB302 Bill of New Hampshire, HB487, if approved, will allow the Florida State Management Board and the state's financial official to use up to 10% of some funds to buy Bitcoin.

Prior to the vote yesterday, Republican Representative Webster Barnaby, who sponsored the bill, encouraged the committee to “vote” on the “very important bill” which he argued would place Florida on the top edge of blockchain and crypto technology.
The bill of three committees needs to be cleared before it arrives at Florida's house.
