As Microsoft announced the profits of the third quarter on Wednesday, Finance Director, Amy Hood, reflected a quarterly internal message to employees who reflected the 50th anniversary of the company and mentioned recent AI agents as an example of the future.

“Every week, the bar seems to be grown for a possible place,” Hood wrote. “With this, new tools and opportunities are coming quickly and I think I ask almost every day whether there is a better way to approach your work. These innovations are forcing us to think differently, to work differently – and I hope they inspire us to lean and try something new.”
Microsoft's shares rose 6% after the working hours were traded after the company published the third -quarter financial report, which exceeded the expectations of analysts.
