Democrats criticize Trump’s handling of the economy, but do they have any solutions themselves?

President Donald Trump is hammered by voters who helped him win the White House, and the Democrats see a chance to gain ground. But they still have no real plan.
This is what Navigator Research, a group aligned by Democrat, found when he directed three distinct discussion groups with voters from Trump from North Caroline, Pennsylvania and Michigan. These are swing states. These are voters who chose Trump in 2020 and again in 2024. Now, many of them question this decision.
This is aligned with other recent surveys showing that more people have annoyed themselves on the management of the economy by Trump. The cost of living has not dropped, the prices strike stronger and the people of chaos expected what it repairs seems worse.
But even with all this frustration, Navigator tells the Democrats to stop sitting and waiting for the voters to come as if by magic while running towards them. They must find their own answers. And fast.
Democrats avoid action while voters regret their choice
Rachael Russell, who directs polls and analyzes for Navigator, said the Democrats not to become lazy.
“Democrats cannot just assume that [voters] are angry with Trump right now, that anyone is going back to them, “she said.” They must give their vision of what an economy that works for everyone looks like, and it cannot be fair that the economy is zero. “”
She said the voters were already showing signs of regret.
“It is now time to provide real solutions that people can consider as an alternative because we see this burst at the moment,” said Russell. “We see people say:” This is not necessarily what I voted for. “”
And yet, even with all the flashing warning panels of red, Russell said Most Democrats still do not make shit. “Everyone is a bit like, we are not in power, we can do nothing.”
She said that the rare who tried to show a different way did it alone. “There are people who do this by themselves, but as an entity, as a party, it does not seem that there is a real vision that is expressed,” she said.
It is a major opening for the party, but that will not mean anything if they continue to lower the difficult part – offer real solutions that people can understand and support.
Voters are clearly fed up. In a CNN survey, the number of Americans who think that Trump has aggravated the economy increased by 8 points in just one month. In discussion groups, people described the first 100 days of Trump as “chaotic”, “disappointing” and a “mixed bag”.
Trump's shadow is looming on economic prospects
These discussion groups dropped just around the 100th day of Trump in power. His approval notes? At the bottom of the rocks. A survey of the New York Times and the Siena College revealed that voters hated the way in which he took care of each major problem, even immigration and the economy – his so -called forces. He left for Truth Social, qualifying the figures “false polls of false press organizations”.
But its base no longer buys it. The people of the discussion groups were upset about how prices did not drop. They stressed Trump's failure to repair the cost of living, even if that is what he promised when he returned to power.
The prices are part of this anger. Most of those who have now hit hard were announced in the last month. Some voters said they liked the idea, but hated how slumped deployment. A man from Michigan holding a university degree said: “It is not a bad idea, but if the implementation is imperfect, then – you cannot turn it on and extinguish it as if it was air conditioning.” He said that the whole had created instability and made it difficult for people to plan.
However, others were more patient. Some said they would give Trump a year to make it work, even if it hurt for a while. This patience was tested when the moderator shared a study by the University of Yale showing that prices could cost families for an additional $ 4,700 per month. Some voters have rejected it.
Meanwhile, Trump has just signed a bill which was supposed to concern taxes and the application of borders. But buried in the details, there was a language that gave him huge new executive powers. This law even closed a Pentagon program. And yes, this bill is adopted with its signature.
