Ethereum’s new leadership charts course for crypto’s largest altcoin

The Ethereum Foundation recently released a blog post written by Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz Stańczak, now conquering their new co-executive director for almost a month.
Using the same executive is the EF's attempt to change the way things are being done by embracing a new leadership model. They hope that the brand new leadership will introduce different and auxiliary views and enhance their ability to meet complex challenges.
“We are excited to embrace the opportunities and challenges ahead, guided by a deep promise to the basic values of Ethereum and a vision based on the steward, coordination, and long-term thinking,” write.
While having two heads may seem counterproductive, co-executive directors say the EF will not be pulled in two different directions. Especially since their relationship is developed in respect of one another, trust, and shared values.
Hsiao-Wei and Tomasz share plans for the next 12 months
Both executives say that their tenure can be described by technical efficiency and guided by two pillars: guide principles (basic values) and goals (pursuit of impact and stability).
HSIAO-WEI and Tomasz said they plan to focus on the foundation's efforts in three areas next year without being wandering out of basic EF values. This includes Ethereum Mainnet, scaling blobs, and UX improvement.
This means that they plan to provide large resources to improving mainnet and L2 interoperability and coordination, UX, Devex, while shining spotlight on applications and L2S in Devcon.
There are also plans to accelerate the travels of developers, founders, and institutions through paths to the development of Ethereum and network adoption.
The Ethereum Foundation has changed under the new Dual Leadership
Before Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz Stańczak were appointed to their current duties, many were considered a sinking ship.
The previous one executive director Aya Miyaguch, became president of the foundation. He has drawn a large amount of criticism, many who blame him for being ineffective and lacking technical focus.
While he was executive director, the EF was constantly accused of excessive spending, not investing its resources, and not focusing on Ethereum's growth. It's been almost a month since Hsiao-Wei and Tomasz were taken, and it appears that things are looking.
In their joint blog post, Tomasz promised to transform the EF into an organization to talk more open and willing to enter difficult dialogues without delay.
He started to do that. A few days ago, on April 21, he shared a long tweet detailing the steps they had taken to move things, which included Vitalik Blerin's time -free time for research and exploration.
The post was warmly welcomed and saw many Ethereum Maxis in comments praising direct community relationships. Others called it a moral strengthening.
While Tomasz seems to be focusing on the care of clear communication and scaling of Ethereum, Hsiao-Wei wrote in a post that the priority will strengthen the EF operation to support ecosystem growth.
They both swear to ensure that the EF not only shows where it is necessary but is also ready to “make space” when the ecosystem develops on its own. It eliminates EF complaints that carry out an excessive influence on what should be a decentralized network.
